SUMMARY
Every petroleum fluid system is prone to erratic and rough performance caused by gum, varnish, and moisture. Trans Tune works fast to dissolve harmful deposits and control the moisture that impairs fluid systems.
Trans Tune works in hydraulic fluid to clean sticky varnish from pressure valves and hydraulic pumps, and to help manage moisture in fluid. It’s safe for use in all types of petroleum-based hydraulic fluid and will not harm gaskets and O-rings or swell seals. Use as a conditioner or an excellent pre-flush cleaner!

HOW TO USE trans tune
Use Trans Tune as a pre-flush cleaner, a long-term fluid conditioner, or to quickly smooth out operational problems caused by varnish or moisture. Try adding Trans Tune to your hydraulic fluid – super easy!
RELATED QUESTIONS
When I add a pint of Trans Tune to my 2002 Toyota Sequoia transmission, I need to drain a pint of transmission fluid, correct? The level has been somewhat high since it was flushed 1 year ago. Thx!
Thanks for the question, Felicia. Yes, that is correct. If the transmission fluid reservoir is overfilled a little, you will want to drain about 16 oz of fluid before adding Trans Tune. Warm up your Sequoia before checking to fluid level to get the most accurate fluid measurement.
If the fluid level is not overfilled, you can just go ahead and add the Trans Tune without draining anything. There’s plenty of capacity for 16oz of Trans Tune if it’s not already high.
If not flushed out in 30 miles, will Trans Tune cause clutches to slip in an automatic transmission?
Thanks for the question! You can leave Trans Tune in there for the life of the fluid. The recommendation to add Trans Tune 30 miles before a fluid flush is simply so that it has enough time to circulate and clean. It’s safe to leave Trans Tune in transmission fluid for as long as you’d like.
Can Trans Tune be used in my 2017 GMC Sierra with Dexron 6?
Is it safe to use Trans Tune in a 2001 Acura WRX CVT transmission?
Can I add the recommended 4 oz of Trans Tune without flushing the power steering? I have about 2000 miles to go before the power steering fluid is flushed. Thank you.
Hi Samuel,
Thanks for the question! Yes, you can add the recommended amount of Trans Tune and leave it in there for the life of the fluid. You do not have to flush it after adding Trans Tune.
Let me know if you have any other questions – happy to help!
