Thanks for the question Dave. Sea Foam does not contain PEA (polyetheramine). Sea Foam contains only petroleum ingredients. There are no harsh chemicals or detergents. Sea Foam works by reliquefying heavier fuel and oil forms, not a detergent that breaks things up.

In order to be effective, PEA requires a LOT of volume to work. Adding PEA to a 16 ounce or smaller volume container doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s one thing to ask, “Does a product can contain PEA?” While the better question is whether a product has enough PEA to even work at all.
