How much Sea Foam can I use for a heavy cleaning in the crank case for a V6 with high mileage that has never been treated?

Thanks for the question, Clark! Add 1 oz of Sea Foam per quart of oil 100-300 miles before your next oil change. Don’t exceed one Sea Foam treatment per oil interval.
Rather than trying to knock it out all at once, adding Sea Foam to the oil before each oil change will progressively clean the crankcase. Might take a few oil change cycles, but if you get in the habit of adding it each time it’ll do a great job cleaning residues and deposits that have accumulated over the years.
Sea Foam High Mileage would be a great option for a high mileage engine that hasn’t been treated before (it’s a strong cleaner!).
Hope that helps!
