Sea Foam for a cylinder misfire code [SOLVED]

I have a ’07 V6 Lexus is350 that is throwing codes for a cylinder misfire. The dealership swapped the plug and coil pack from the No. 1 hole with the No . 5 hole and that cylinder showed misfire. Their solution is to rebuild the top of the engine for $1,000.00 something I cannot afford. How can I clean up the carbon and oil build-up with Sea Foam along with new plugs, wires and coil packs?

Great question, Gary.

I’d do two things:

  1. Add a can or two of Sea Foam High Mileage to a low tank of fuel and drive at least 20 miles.
  2. Run back to back Sea Foam Spray treatments through the intake.

Here’s a video that covers everything you need to know. (Also, I’d use a full can of Sea Foam High Mileage instead of Sea Foam Motor Treatment).
