Oops – I used Trans Tune instead of Sea Foam [SOLVED]

Jim,

I recently ordered a bundle of your Sea Foam products – including a bottle of the Trans Tune.

Somehow, I mixed up the bottles and ended up adding the can of Trans Tune into the gas tank!
And right after, I added a bottle of Sea Foam SF-16 engine cleaner … while at 1/4 tank of gas.

Will the Trans Tune “burn up” safely in the engine? Or do I need to not drive and have the tank pumped?
Or if it’s not too dangerous, maybe I should fill the tank with gas to 100% to dilute it all?

I was hoping it would help cleanup the 150K of carbon build up in the engine, but am concerned the Trans Tune might cause damage?

Hi Jeff,

No worries and nothing to do! Trans Tune in your fuel won’t harm your engine or cause any problems. Trans Tune and Sea Foam Motor Treatment are very similar. You can go ahead and drive that 1/4 tank until almost empty and the Sea Foam will help to clean out the carbon.
