Using Marine PRO with mixed gas in an Evinrude VRO [SOLVED]
Asked by Marcus C Sisemore S. In Texas
I have an 1989 Evinrude 120 VRO outboard. It is a 2-stroke engine that I’m wanting to use a fuel treatment in to keep it in great shape. Will Marine PRO work with mixed gas? I should also note it has a VRO pump so the oil is not mixed in the tank. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi Marcus. Marine PRO will work great in your outboard. As you use it you should expect faster starts and smoother running as it won’t allow varnish to form in the carburetor circuits. All you do is pour it in and let it go to work!
