I followed your ‘Gummed-Up Carburetor’ instructions to clean my 15 horse Yamaha outboard. It worked great but I forgot to add 2-stroke oil. Do I need to add two-stroke oil to the Sea Foam cleaning mixture?
Yes, always. If your outboard or any 2-stroke engine requires a pre-mixture of oil and gasoline, don’t forget to include oil in the carburetor cleaning mixture.
