Hey Chris. Yes, Sea Foam is safe for turbos and to use in your Mini Cooper’s fuel and oil systems. It will not, however, work to clean turbo parts (Sea Foam is done working after the exhaust stroke). If I owned a Mini Cooper I’d be running Sea Foam in fuel every 3,000 miles, Sea Foam in oil every interval, and because it’s a GDI engine (gasoline direct injection), Sea Foam Spray through the throttle body at least twice a year to help clean intake valve deposits. The 3-part treatment routine will help minimize any residue sent toward the turbo parts.
