Using Sea Foam Motor Treatment or Marine PRO to clean carbon [SOLVED]
Asked by David C. In Alabama
I use Sea Foam in my Mercury Optimax 150 Pro XS. Is there a big difference in Marine PRO versus regular Sea Foam Motor Treatment? Carbon buildup is my concern. Thanks.
Marine PRO is the best Sea Foam treatment for your Optimax. It’s specially formulated to help prevent and overcome the issues that marine engine owners deal with the most – like hard starting, rough idle, fuel degradation, premature engine wear, and corrosion. Works great to clean clean carbon and fuel gum in a marine engine, along with stabilize fuel. You can read more about the difference between the products in our blog post about choosing the best treatment for your engine.
Either product works great, but many people are switching to Marine PRO after seeing how it works (read a few reviews on the Marine PRO page). Give it a try – you’ll like it!
