Hi Mike. Sea Foam will work in your VW diesel’s fuel to help keep fuel passageways clean and lubricated. When added every oil interval, Sea Foam will work in your crankcase to liquefy heavier oil residues and deposits so they can drain away when you replace your oil. Otherwise, the sticky oil forms will stay an build in your crankcase.

If dirt, gum, or varnish residues are causing the fuel injector to stick open, Sea Foam Motor Treatment will help. A great way to clean an injector in a diesel is through the fuel filter: https://seafoamworks.com/shop-talk/sea-foam-official-video-how-to-clean-diesel-fuel-injectors-without-removing-parts/
