That’s a great question Ryan. Here’s what I do: I always try to add a full can of Sea Foam when the tank is low, then drive at least 20 miles with a higher concentration. For example, if I add 16 ounces of Sea Foam to three gallons of gas, my ratio is 5 ounces per gallon. If I add a can to 2 gallons, it’s 8 ounces per gallon. Once I’ve driven 20 or so miles I will add more gasoline, but won’t let the ratio go less than one or two ounces per gallon. As the can instructions show, add 1 ounce per gallon for fuel maintenance…add 2 or more ounces for cleaning.
