Can you add Sea Foam to fuel treated with Sta-Bil? [SOLVED]
Asked by John R Price J. In New Hampshire
I have a sticking float in my carburetor so after I took my carb apart to clean someone told me about your Sea Foam Motor Treatment. I am interested in trying it but the gas that I use in my John Deere tractor has Sta-Bil in it.
Question: Can I mix Sea Foam Motor Treatment with gas that already has Sta-Bil in it?
Thanks for the question John. You can safely add Sea Foam to fuel that has already been treated with Sta-Bil. Using Sea Foam in your John Deere fuel will not allow varnish to form in your carburetor, so no more stuck floats to fix!
